How to reach Taormina
The ideal airport for reaching Taormina is the one at Catania, Fontanarossa airport, about 50 minutes away. The other alternatives are the airports of Palermo and Trapani, on the opposite coast, about 3/4 hours by car.

Arriving by plane
From Catania airport take the motorways A18 in the direction of Messina. Leave the highway at the Taormina junction. After the Taormina pay toll proceed towards the centre of Taormina. Nearing the centre next to the parking LUMBI, take the tunnel on the right that indicates PORTA CATANIA. At the end of the tunnel, passing through traffic lights, continue upwards until you reach PIAZZA SANT’ANTONIO. Take the second turning to the right (VIA PIETRO RIZZO). Further on, passed the QUESTURA which is on your left, turn right into VIA ROMA. At the stop junction, turn right, continue along VIA BAGNOLI CROCE and the Hotel Villa Belvedere is just after the Botanical Gardens on your right, number 79.
From Palermo (Falcone Borsellino airport) take the motorway A19 direction Catania, nearing Catania, change to motorway A18 direction Messina. Leave motorway at Taormina junction and follow Taormina centre.
Arriving from mainland by car or train
you can reach Taormina by car or train, navigating the STRAITS OF MESSINA by FERRY.
By car take motorway A18 towards Catania leaving motorway at Taormina junction.
The hotel has a private car parking and a garage both guarded and with video surveillance. The car park is just at the entrance of the hotel and a valet parking is always available to enter and exit our clients’ cars. The cost is € 14,00 per day.
By train you arrive at Taormina – Giardini Naxos railway station, take a taxi or bus to arrive in Taormina.
